Introducing Team Rentals at the Red Wings Performance Center
We’re excited to introduce a new way for teams to train at the Red Wings Performance Center — the ability to rent the entire dual-cage setup for just $100 per hour.
Each rental includes baseballs, protective Valle Shield netting, and our custom-built pitching mounds (11’ wide × 13’ long) with weight-room flooring to provide the most stable, professional-grade platform for pitchers. With HitTrax running live in the background, your team will have access to real-time feedback during every session.
Coaches’ Bonus: To reward programs that make the Performance Center part of their training routine, for every 10 rentals booked, your team will receive one additional hitting session for free.
What’s Included in Every Rental:
Two full-sized cages (80’ long, 16’ wide, 14’ tall) outfitted with Valle Shield netting for safety
Access to regulation MiLB baseballs (the same baseballs the Red Wings use) and our premium custom mounds … each measures 11’ wide × 13’ long, fortified with weight-room flooring to provide a stable, pro-quality pitching platform
HitTrax enabled on a generic player profile:
Every rental comes with HitTrax running live in the cages, giving players immediate feedback on their swings. Using high-speed cameras and advanced tracking, HitTrax measures key metrics like exit velocity, launch angle, contact point, and spray direction, while also projecting live ball flight into virtual MLB stadiums on the TVs around the cage.
Think of it as turning a standard batting cage into a game-like environment: every swing is tracked, displayed, and contextualized. You’ll see if that line drive would have been a double in Fenway, or a home run at Yankee Stadium.
In this base rental package, the system is run on a generic profile, so teams can still enjoy live metrics and ball flight visualization without saving or emailing reports after the session.

For teams that want more than just cage time, we offer a tech-enabled bundle that combines advanced pitching machines and full data reporting.

Two Hack Attack pitching machines – versatile, durable, and capable of simulating fastballs, breaking pitches, and off-speed variations at game-level precision. Perfect for teams that want high-quality, efficient reps.
HitTrax LIVE
With the upgraded rental, teams can register their full roster into the system and run the session themselves, ensuring every swing is tied to the right player.
On the back end, the Red Wings Performance Center staff will handle getting your roster entered into the system and sending out all post-session reports. Teams are only responsible for switching players during the session. At the end of each rental, every athlete will receive a personalized hitting report via email, while coaches receive all individual reports plus a consolidated team-wide Hitting Snapshot delivered via Red Wings x TRAQ.

Choose your package:
Standard Rental - two cages, baseballs, custom mounds, and HitTrax running on a generic profile (live metrics only, no reports).
Tech Bundle - includes Hack Attack machines, full HitTrax team integration, and post-session reports.
Arrive with your team and check in at the Performance Center.
If using the Tech Bundle:
Our staff will load your roster into the system and handle all reporting.
During the session, your team will be responsible for switching players in HitTrax as they hit.
Post-session:
Players automatically receive their hitting reports by email.
Coaches receive all individual reports, plus a consolidated team Hitting Snapshot via Red Wings x TRAQ.
