Softball season may move indoors when the weather gets cold, but the competition does not have to stop.

New for the 2026–27 offseason, the Adult Softball Hitting League at the Red Wings Performance Center – Fueled by Wegmans gives players ages 18 and older a chance to compete in weekly matchups, track their statistics, and stay ready for their next season or tournament.

Designed for recreational, competitive, and tournament players, the league combines the social side of team softball with realistic game simulation powered by HitTrax.

How the League Works

Players will register as individuals, form teams, and compete against other teams in head-to-head HitTrax matchups.

HitTrax transforms indoor hitting into a simulated game experience. Each swing produces real-time results, allowing participants to follow the action, track their performance, and compete in digital versions of all 30 Major League ballparks.

Live statistics and competitive leaderboards will add to the experience throughout each session.

Players do not need to organize a full team before registering. Individuals can join, meet other local softball players, and become part of a team for the league.

Made for the Local Softball Community

The league is open to adults (coed) ages 18 and older, including:

  • Recreational players looking for a fun winter activity

  • League players who want to stay sharp between seasons

  • Tournament players preparing for upcoming competition

  • Former players interested in getting back into the game

  • Individuals hoping to meet and compete with other local softball players

Whether someone plays every week during the summer or has not stepped into the batter’s box in years, the league offers a welcoming way to reconnect with the game.

Track Every At-Bat

HitTrax gives players more than a place to take swings. Its real-time performance analytics make each at-bat part of the competition.

Participants can follow their statistics, see their results during simulated games, and compare their performance over the course of the league.

Players will compete inside the Performance Center’s professional-grade training environment, which features:

  • HitTrax game simulation

  • Real-time performance analytics

  • Driveline Baseball development equipment

  • Bat-speed and plyometric training tools

  • High-performance pitching machines

  • Personalized performance reports

  • Live competitive leaderboards

The result is an indoor league that combines competition, technology, and the camaraderie of team softball.

Stay Ready for the Next Season

The Adult Softball Hitting League gives players a consistent opportunity to swing throughout a Western New York winter without worrying about weather or field conditions.

Weekly competition can help participants maintain their timing, keep their competitive instincts sharp, and prepare for the next recreational or tournament season.

Just as importantly, it is an opportunity to have fun, meet other players, and remain connected to Rochester’s softball community.
